WEEKEND IN WEST HAMPTON
Thanks to a good friend, I got to spend an incredible girls-only weekend in the West Hamptons. The property we stayed on was spectacular! Located on Dune Road, the house was directly on the beach and was equipped with everything one would need for a fun filled weekend: Pool table? Check. Sauna? Check. Greenhouse? Check. Chef’s Kitchen, deck with a pool and hot tub? Check, check and check!
Unfortunately, I cannot share the amazing photos of the house exterior and interior due to the owner’s vast private collection of artwork and sculptures throughout the property. However, I managed to get some great shots that I believe still capture the heart of the Hamptons.
Waking up to the calming sound of the ocean and being greeted by the cutest white tailed deers wandering along the beach was picture perfect and brought me such a sense of gratitude. In that moment my exact thought was: Life is great and I have so much to be grateful for. I felt very much at peace and tried to savior and fully enjoy that moment for as long as possible. After spending the day on the beach and hanging by the pool, we hit up Main Street for tacos and cocktails at this laid-back spot Margarita Grille, the name should give you a hint as to what we ordered. After, we enjoyed ice cream while walking down Main Street before heading back to the house.
Perhaps my favorite thing about the house (aside from the beach, pool and everything else the house offered) was the surround sound system that carried music throughout the main areas of the house. Our playlist for the weekend included a mix of Sade, Madonna, Calvin Harris, Rihanna, Drake, Halsey and lots of Brazilian music!
I highly recommend taking a trip to the Hamptons if and when the opportunity arises. We are already planning our next visit that will hopefully take place in East Hampton. Until then, I'll be dreaming about the day I get to return.
Kept my look simple with neutral colors. Wearing my new fave pleated cropped pant by Topshop, bodysuit by American Apparel similar here , cropped denim jacket by Levis, shoes by Mango (recently sold out) similar here and here.
The Hamptons offers great activities and attractions to its residents and visitors. If your not at the beach or pool you can visit art galleries, wineries, go biking, fishing, horseback riding, enjoy a boat ride, shopping at cute local boutiques and so much more.
