I could not have asked for a better first time trip to Los Angeles, California. My plans to explore this entertainment driven city started bright and early the morning after my arrival. First stop - to hike and see the famous Hollywood sign. After, I headed to soul food restaurant, Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, for a tasty meal. Then, back to my hotel to shower and change for the second half of the day. On the way back I drove past the Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, CA. It was exciting just to be near the place where some of our favorite shows are filmed. (Hey, Ellen!)
In the afternoon, I visited the OUE Skyspace located in Downtown Los Angeles. Here I went down a 45-foot long glass slide located 1,000 feet above the city that goes off of the exterior of the US Bank Tower. It's not as scary as it sounds (even though I may or may not have screamed the whole way down) as it goes by so fast. There is also a wonderful observation deck that boast amazing views of Downtown and beyond on a clear day.
Finally, my day ended at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) to check out the Urban Lights installation.
Here I am wearing a body suit by American Apparel, jeans by Topshop, camo jacket by F21, suede booties by Diane von Furstenberg and shades by Givenchy.
